Description
The City of Santa Clarita 2013-14 Annual Overlay Program included the paving of a Thin Maintenance Overlay to repair a number of residential streets. A PG76-22TR polymer modied 3/8” asphalt mix reinforced with FORTA-FI® was placed at a thickness of 1 ¼” to 1 ½”. The reinforcing fibers were used to reduce the rate of crack propagation and development, extending overall pavement life and reducing future maintenance costs.
