Project Description
Charlotte City Streets received a 2″ mill & fill in this resurfacing project. This high-volume roadway utilized a Dense Grade HMA with a 30% fractioned Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP). North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) incorporated FORTA-FI reinforcement fibers to increase the pavement’s life cycle—by reducing cracking, rutting, and raveling.
