Sometimes it’s the smallest projects that have the biggest impact! 5 tons of FORTA-FI® reinforced asphalt made by Lane Construction Corporation’s McKees Rocks plant was placed alongside the railroad tracks just in front of the entrance of the Pitt-Ohio trucking facility in the Strip District. Heavy tractor-trailers pass over this patch day and night. As promised FORTAfied® asphalt holds the material in place. It prevents shoving and rutting and provides tremendous added strength and durability that un-reinforced asphalt simply can’t match.
