Description
Hot mix asphalt reinforced with FORTA-FI® was used in a 10” full-depth asphalt concrete section in a digout area on Harbor Blvd. The goal of the fiber reinforcement was to strengthen the full-depth asphalt layer to help bridge over pumping subgrade soils.
