Description

The Lake County Engineer’s office added FORTA-FI® to the asphalt used on the resurfacing project on beautiful Hoose Road. This scenic residential roadway was reinforced with 3/4“ HMA fiber to provide three-dimensional strength to the asphalt overlay. The addition of FORTA-FI® to the job-mix formula will provide high-tensile strength and aramid fiber toughness to help the overlay resist cracking and rutting. Lake County will enjoy the benefits of this three-dimensionally fiber-reinforced FORTA-FI® asphalt for many years to come!
