Project Description
Two roadways in Destin, Florida – Industrial Drive and Trista Terrace Ct. – suffered from severe alligator cracking. The City’s Stormwater Specialist/Floodplain Manager noted that Industrial Drive is the heaviest trafficked and poorest quality road in Destin. The city’s road specialists chose to incorporate FORTA-FI® – in the two 1-1/2” overlays – to prevent future reflective cracking.
Update
One year later, Industrial Drive and Trista Terrace Court are not cracking or rutting despite the heavy traffic.
