Description
Kiski Upper Elementary, a STEM school (with cirriculum focused on science, technology, engineering and math) is the result of a $20 million renovation and enlargement of the former North Washington Elementary school in Export, PA. In order to extend the life of the pavements around the school the architectural firm spec’d FORTA-FI® into existing designs. The parking lots were constructed using a 1 1½” 9.5mm wearing course and the bus loop which encompases the school was paved with a 3” 9.5mm wearing course, both utilizing FORTA-FI®.
