Project Description
Sporilovska street, a major connection of the D1 motorway, connects one of the most densely populated areas of Prague to regional capitals throughout Europe. Being that it is the shortest route from the capital to northern Germany, its daily load is upwards of 100,000 vehicles—10,000 of those being heavy trucks. All four lanes of deteriorated roadway were resurfaced with approximately 3,500 tons of FORTA-FI reinforced asphalt due to its proven life extension and reputation for mitigating rutting, cracking, and raveling.
Update
After 3 years of heavy traffic and extreme summer temperatures, Sporilovska Street shows no visible defects.
Key Points
- Reduced Rutting
- Reduced Cracking
