Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation used FORTA-FI® to reinforce portions of the State Route-13 repaving project south of Mansfield, Ohio. This high-traffic roadway connects to lnterstate-71, with high-use entrance and exit ramps and a well-traveled business access intersection at Hanley Road. ODOT selected FORTA-FI® for use in various sections of this asphalt material trial project. A traditional Superpave asphalt mix design was used for the entire project, with FORTA-FI® added to the fiber-reinforced portions of the roadway where specified.
