Description
The main drive of the Stonegate development in Scottsdale, AZ required repaving in May 2013. The approach that consultant PMIS specified was full removal of the existing 2.5” AC followed by paving a single lift of 2.5” FORTAfied® asphalt. The addition of FORTA-FI® is expected to add 5-7 years to the normal 20 year design life of this road.
Update
After 2.5 years of service, the roadway is still crack-free.
